How To Print A Collage Of Multiple Images On One Page WITHOUT Any Hassle

Have you ever found yourself in need of using printouts of multiple pictures on a single sheet of paper either at work or for personal use?

There are times when we need to take printouts of a lot of images at once on a single page or paper sheet and the use may vary from one individual to another. In fact, i have seen situation where someone needed to use a picture to fill an insurance form for a client and the only available picture was the one on her phone. So we ended up using this simple trick to assist her getting the form filled with the passport photograph.

In order to take print of multiple images on one page, usually people first create a collage of pictures with the help of software like Photoshop or Picasa etc ( which may not be readily available) and then take a print out of this collage.

The question is, “How can one print a collage of multiple images on one page WITHOUT any hassle?" This article answers your question! If you want to print several images neatly arranged in a tiled fashion on a one page paper, this tutorial will guide you through. The trick is simple and does need any extra knowledge of Photoshop. You can use Windows Photo Viewer or Microsoft Office Picture Manager for this purpose.

Microsoft Windows comes with software called “Windows Photo Viewer” and Microsoft Office suite has another piece of software called "Microsoft Office Picture Manager" –you can use either of these to do the job very neatly without stress.

In Windows Explorer, take a right click on any image file and go to “Open with”. If the resulting sub-menu will shows either of the above mentioned software, then you are good to go.

You can then follow the steps below:

1.To begin this process, open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder where images to be printed are located. Once you are there, select a few images that you want to print on a single paper. Note: The number of these pictures should be less than 40, since the more
images you select the smaller will be the size of each image on printout.

Tip: In order to select multiple images press and hold CTRL key and keep clicking on desired images to select them. Or open a new folder and copy all the images you intend using for this purpose. From that folder, highlight all by pressing CTRL + A key.

2.After you have selected the images that you want, right click on the selected pictures.

3.When you take right click on the selected images, you have an option to choose "Print" or "Edit" option from the popup menu. Either one will work perfectly. If you choose "Print", a special "print pictures dialog box" of Windows Photo Viewer will open up.

4.You will notice that only one picture from your selected pictures is display on the Print Pictures Dialog Box. This is the default option and until you select from the options on the right pane (that's additional print options).

5.From the right hand bar in this box, select the number of images you want to print on one paper. E.g. 9 x 13 cm (4), wallet (9) etc. Upon choosing the preferred size, the preview will show how your printout will look like. If you are satisfied, then click the print button to begin printing collage of selected images. You are good to go!
